Digital Silicon Irradiance Sensor with RS485 Port

Additional to our analogue silicon irradiance sensors available on the market since 1994 we now offer a digital silicon irradiance sensor with RS485 port, type Si-RS485-TC-T. Of course it has the approved high quality aluminum case and the PV cell as sensor element constructed like a pv module. The internal electronic is completely new designed on a microcontroller basis. For temperature compensation and cell temperature measurement a Pt1000 temperature sensor is laminated onto the backside of the cell. A RS485 port with galvanic isolation to the power supply (12 to 28 Vdc) is available for communication. Several protocols alternatively to our default protocol can be implemented to adapt the sensor for communication with several inverters and data loggers. As an option an additional temperature input for ambient or module temperature measurement and an impuls input for wind speed measurement is available.
